Diffy Update: Kim

A little update from Kim’s perspective:

Yes, I can still float.

Suzanna and Katrina just aged into young adults, and I finally decided to move us all into a much bigger house.

We really needed to now that Zach and Aurora are growing up.

Zachariah’s dog had puppies, and he loves all of them so much. We adopted his dog after Thad died, and it has helped Zach to have them around to take care of.

Suzanna had Aurora right before she aged into an adult. She wasn’t really prepared for it, but we all love Aurora of course.

The only bad thing is that her father, Deshaun Davis, hasn’t really stepped up to help out. He seems to want to distance himself, in fact.

Katrina’s also dating; her boyfriend is Darrin Bingley-LaFontaine, Wanda’s half-brother.

Katrina is a few days older than him, but she’s still staying faithful and just waiting for him to age up.

I don’t know if this will be a shock, but I’m dating, too.

Ray Morgan is a young guy in the sports career who I met while covering games at the stadium. He’s a rookie who made it to the SimBowl this season, but didn’t win. He’s got a way to go, but he’s very hardworking, and I admire his determination.

Ray: “Seeing you at the end of the day keeps me going.”

I had my mourning period for Thad, and for myself, in a way. I’ve realized that I’m going to be in this realm for a long time. Not to be callous, but I learned that moving on isn’t a bad thing. I had my time with Thad, and I had my time to be single. And now I have Ray. I had to move on because if I don’t life will keep on going without me. I had to be strong for Zachariah, Katrina, Suzanna, and Aurora.

I am really glad she’s being strong and moving on (you know, Maddie sadly never did), it’s very good example of being strong for the younger. Way to go, woman!
P.S. I’m sorry, but I’m totally not caught up, but I’m kind of busy at the moment.

Yes, I think that for Kim she really felt like she had to move on because Zachariah is still so young and she also ended up having to take care of her nieces. With so many young people depending on her, It wasn’t as much of a choice for her.

No problem, go at your own pace! I know when I am working a lot or have real life stuff going on, I get behind, too. And I haven’t caught up on yours yet, haha.

Thank you very much, I feel guilty when you are catching up and I’m so, so far, only read gen. 1. I will try to get back to it when I have more free time. Yes, she needed to do it when she had so many young people around. I really appreciate your catching up 🙂

Yes, you do have to move on if you live for a long time/forever. And it’s what your partner would have wanted, no, for you to be happy again?

Yes, I think for her she just realized that time wasn’t going to stop for her, and she had her family depending on her. Moving on can be a very good thing when you’re ready.

I’m glad for Kim! Sad about Thad of course but what can you do?
The puppies were probably a really good idea to Aid in the mourning process.

Kim has done her best to move on. Having her son Zach and everyone else to care for has helped a lot, and the puppies take their minds off losing Thad. Thanks for reading!
