Cookie and Moze: 2.10 “The Great Pumpkin”

Last time with the Diffys, old people died and Marceline aged into a child. This time…

Screenshot-43

Keely asked for a raise from her boss!

Screenshot-45

She’s at level nine in the journalism career; at level ten she would reach her Lifetime Wish.

Screenshot-73

Afterwards, I sent her to pick some pumpkins.  D:

Screenshot-75

 Keely: “Why am I floating??”

Screenshot-76

Keely: “I know…it’s the Great Pumpkin!”

Screenshot-77

Phil: “What? Why are you looking at me?”

Nothing. Everything’s fine.

Screenshot-79

 Phil: “Keely?”

Screenshot-81

 Phil: *gasp*

Screenshot-83

 Keely: “OH GREAT PUMPKIN!”

Grim: “That’s not really my–”

Screenshot-86

Keely: “Please! I don’t want to leave my family! I have children, and grandchildren!”

Screenshot-85

Keely: “And I didn’t have time to pick these pumpkins, or roller skate, or kiss under the mistletoe, or–”

Grim: “Enough!”

Screenshot-87

Grim: “I know it is a sad thing…but it is your time, Keely Diffy.”

Finn: “Grandpa?”

Screenshot-89

 Finn: “Lemme at ’em!”

No, Finn. Just…no.

Screenshot-90

Well, they were still at the festival, and everyone wanted to take a picture, so they did.

Screenshot-91

Then Phil and Finn finished picking the pumpkins.

Screenshot-93

 Finn: “Grandma!”

Screenshot-94

Moze: “I am so sorry I wasn’t there, Marcie.”

Screenshot-103

Cinnamon Bun: “I miss Gamma too!”

If you say so, but I don’t see a mourning moodlet in your panel.

Screenshot-108

Here is the picture from the festival. I LOVE IT. Keely was one of the options of people to add in there, but I didn’t know that she would really show up!

Screenshot-107

Prunella is actually using those newspapers.

Screenshot-109

 Cats are the best audience.

Screenshot-110

Cookie: “Whelp, I’m off to get a tattoo. Yep, totally unaffected by Mom’s death.”

Moze: “Sure.”

Screenshot-111

He’s so unaffected that he stopped and forgot what he was doing. Something he never does.

Cookie: “I just remembered when we first moved here…Mom helped out so much with taking care of Finn…”

Screenshot-112

Marceline: “Gah, all the adults are trying to pretend that everything’s normal. Well it’s not! Grandma’s dead and it sucks!”

You…need a distraction.

Screenshot-118

 Pumpkin carving!

Screenshot-113

 Phil!  ;_;

Screenshot-121

Thank you SO much for that, Arthur.

Arthur: “You’re welcome.”

Screenshot-122

I built this lot right behind the school. It is a school gym of sorts that I’m going to try out as a venue for teen and child “dances”. Finn threw a formal party and invited all the teen- and child-aged Sims in town.

Screenshot-124

 Rufus Charm: “Hey Finn!”

Screenshot-125

Rufus: “Wow. You guys sound terrible.”

Screenshot-126

 Marceline: “This is so exciting!”

Screenshot-127

Marceline: “Maybe I’ll even get a kiss from Mar!”

Slow down there, Marcie.

Screenshot-129

Finn and his friend Charlotte took pictures in the photo booth.

Screenshot-130

 Rufus: “Rrrrruff! I’m a dog!”

Screenshot-131

Rufus: “What am I doing?! My mommy’s dead!”

Yeah, yeah. Everybody’s mom is dead.

Screenshot-132

Marceline: “Oh MAAAAAAR! Why don’t you come out from hiding in that bathroom!”

Screenshot-133

Mar Pride: “Ummm…have you seen my sister?”

Marceline: “I think she’s in the photo booth with Finn. I wouldn’t bother her.”

Screenshot-134

Marceline: “So! Would you like to dance with me?”

Screenshot-135

Finn: “These pictures turned out absolutely perfect!”

Screenshot-136

 I don’t see anything…

Finn: “Well you’ve got to give it time to develop…”

Screenshot-137

Mar: “COOTIES! Charlotte, I’m going home!”

Marceline: “Boys are stupid.”

I didn’t really like the sound of “Mar and Marceline” anyway. “Marceline and Mar”? No.

Screenshot-142

 Marceline: “I can still dance!”

Screenshot-144

 Finn: “Muscles! Yeah!”

Marceline: “Will you dance with me, Finn?”

Screenshot-147

Finn: “Yeah! Just…y’know, at a distance. I can’t be seen dancing with little kids.”

Screenshot-148

Marceline: “Hymph. It’s close to curfew time anyway, so I’m going home.”

Screenshot-149

Just in time to get back in the rain.

Screenshot-152

 Cookie: “G’night, C.B.”

Cinnamon Bun: “Bu’ dadda!”

Screenshot-154

 Cinnamon Bun: “‘m not suleepy!”

Screenshot-156

 Cinnamon Bun: “‘m not…”

Ok.

Screenshot-73

Like he did in his younger years, Phil suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night even though his energy bar is not full.

Screenshot-72

This time, Keely is not there to call him back to bed.

Screenshot-75

These cats always have to run outside every time it rains.  -_-  The front door is locked to pets from now on.

Screenshot-78

 The cats miss Keely, too.

Screenshot-83

I had to give their photo a good spot.  🙂

Screenshot-84

Phil tries to help by making sorrow annihilators.

Moze: “I don’t think this is going to–”

Screenshot-85

Moze: “Hey, I do feel better.”

Screenshot-87

 Cinnamon Bun: “Mmm.”

Screenshot-88

 Cinnamon Bun: “Tank you Finn!”

Finn really does help out a lot with C.B.

Screenshot-98

Screenshot-99

He even taught C.B. how to walk.

Screenshot-91

Eating candy makes you look really worried, Cookie.

Cookie: “I’m just worried about what this candy will do to my waistline.”

Screenshot-96

This is Cookie’s carpool now. He’s at level nine of the culinary career.

Screenshot-93

Marceline: “Hey Mom! I think a cat would cheer you up!”

Screenshot-94

Moze: “Well, I’ll try it. Here, Prunella.”

Screenshot-103

 Marceline: “Mom? Are you ok?”

Screenshot-100

Moze: “Well of course, Marcie. I guess your grandma’s death is just getting to me more than I thought it would.”

Screenshot-105

Moze was still working through it. She had to deliver a sing-a-gram to Emmett Maesson.

Screenshot-106

He is husband to Illdrid Maesson from the Maesson Legacy.

Screenshot-111

Here’s a picture of all the generation three kids.

Screenshot-112

After homework is done, I sent them to play horseshoes with Phil.

Screenshot-114

 Cinnamon Bun: “Me too?”

You are much too young for horseshoes.

Screenshot-116

Cookie: “C’mere, you can play with me inside!”

Screenshot-117

Finn: “It’s starting to rain, haha!”

Screenshot-118

Marceline: “Maybe now you can finally get that bath you’ve been needing!”

Finn: “Ha, very funny.”

Phil: “C’mon, kids. It’s your turn again, Marcie.”

Screenshot-121

 Marceline: “Ok, I’m ready.”

Screenshot-124

 Finn: *gasp* “Grandpa!”

Marceline: “What’s the matter with you, Finn?”

Screenshot-125

Marceline: *gasp* “No!”

Screenshot-128

 Cookie and Moze: “DAD!”

Screenshot-129

 Marceline: “I–I can’t look anymore!”

Finn: “I can’t stop looking!”

Screenshot-135

Screenshot-134

Phil: “Hey guys, it’s raining! This feels so funny!”

Phil actually stuck out his tongue, but I missed taking a picture of it.

Screenshot-136

 Phil: “Well, Grim…”

Screenshot-137

Phil: “…I’m ready to see Keely again.”

Screenshot-139

Grim: “You really do stink, kid.”

Marceline: “Told you.”

Screenshot-142

Cinnamon Bun: “Guys? ‘m still in da highchair guys.”

Screenshot-147

Screenshot-148

Grim really doesn’t think my house is clean enough.

Screenshot-149

 Cinnamon Bun: “What’s he doin’??”

Screenshot-150

Cinnamon Bun: “Nu-uh.”

Now C.B. won’t use that potty. I guess I can’t blame him after Grim messed with it.

Screenshot-151

 What’s that?

Screenshot-152

Haha, Buster’s playing in the tub.

Screenshot-154

 Buster: “Just checking for spiders…”

Screenshot-155

Cookie: “Jolene, I know what you’ve been going through now. Both my parents died recently…”

Screenshot-156

Cookie: “It just makes me realize how important family is. You can still make it for C.B.’s birthday, right?”

Screenshot-72

I have no idea why Marceline was staring at the wall like this, but I think she looks cute.

Marceline: “Spiders!”

Screenshot-73

Cookie: “I really am glad that you could make it, Jolene.”

Screenshot-75

Jolene: “Oh of course! I wish I could be with you and C.B. more often! It’s just that my sister Meghann is going a little crazy and I’m afraid of what she might do if she were on her own.”

Screenshot-79

Cookie: “Well I’m sure C.B. is glad to see you now. Isn’t that right?”

Cinnamon Bun: “Heehee!”

Screenshot-82

It’s finally time for Cinnamon Bun’s birthday.

Screenshot-83

Screenshot-84

 Everyone is cheering him on.

Screenshot-88

 A toddler leaps…

Screenshot-91

…into a child. C.B. adds good to his traits.

Screenshot-94

 I gave him braces.  🙂

Screenshot-93

Cinnamon Bun: “Marcie, did you know it’s my birthday?”

Marceline: “Haha, how could I not?”

Screenshot-96

Marceline: “Happy birthday, you little twerp.”

And now I will end what feels like a really long chapter. But first:

Cookie's achieved LTW

Cookie achieved his Lifetime Wish! This actually happened some time ago, when he was a young adult. I just kept forgetting about it. Next time: I decorate rooms, and Finn will “make a move”.

  1. Awww, bye bye Keely and Phil. They will be missed, but it was cool you got a picture of ghost Keely with the rest of them. A sad, but also fun update. C.B. is cute, and at least his mom seems to care.
