Sansa 9.6 “Meet the Parents”

Last time with the Diffys, Sansa and Alex started dating, Sansa got into an altercation with Heather Knight, and she also almost died in the hail. This time…

Christine, Eddy, and Daenerys went to a party at the Hailey-Adeyemi’s. Supposedly a pool party, but it’s at an apartment, so…

Eddy’s a hairy guy, and he has a lot of tattoos even before I got my hands on him.

Ooooh, their kitten is adorable!!! Look at the mustache!

Daenerys: “Awwww.”

Daenerys: “Who’s a cutie? You are!”

Daenerys; “Deshaun invited me to go bowling.”

Please ignore her thinking about a bed. There will be no teenage woohoo on my watch (except for Tom).

Christine: “We can throw you a party if you want. It wouldn’t be a problem, Danny.”

Daenerys: “I’d rather not have a big thing. I just want to spend time with you, check, and Deshaun.”

She does have a wish to go on a date with Deshaun, and it’s her last chance since it is her birthday.

They spend some time bowling…

…but it’s not long before Danny feels her birthday coming on.

Can I get some reaction from you, please?

Deshaun: “Happy birthday!”

Better.

I planned this outfit around an accessory sweater that I hadn’t actually downloaded yet. I’ll fix that later.

Danny now adds diva to good, athletic, ambitious, and charismatic. She wants to be the leader of the free world, of course.

Meanwhile, Sansa is back at the Starlight Lounge and the bartender is actually working tonight.

Sansa: “One, please.”

Well, that’s fancy.

Sansa: “This is amazing!”

Tipsy Sansa wants to smush Alex’s face.

Percy Cassat: *grooves to music*

Sansa: “Sorry. That wasn’t really appropriate.”

Alexander: “Who cares?”

Sansa: “Who cares? … You are so hot right now.”

Alexander: “Yeah? You, too.”

After some dancing, Sansa is exhausted and stinky.

Alexander: “I think it’s time for me to get home.”

Christine, Eddy, and Danny went to the festival for Love Day. This stinking pile of leaves has been here all through the winter under the snow, courtesy of Theon and Brienne. I don’t know if it will ever disappear. D:

Daenerys: “That was pathetic, Mom. You know how to play horseshoes?”

Christine: “Okay, bring it!”

Daenerys: “Mom?”

Christine: “Huh?”

Daenerys: “Jon invited me to move into his apartment. He knows I want to get started in politics, and I’ve applied for an internship at the city’s town hall.”

Christine: “Isn’t his apartment tiny?”

Daenerys: “I guess I’ll be on his futon for a while, but it will be best for me to be in the city.”

Christine: “I hope you know what you’re doing. I love you.”

Daenerys: “I love you, too, Mom.”

My Simself is old. ;_;

And Zee’s old age is apparently not slowing him down at all.

Alex is invited over for dinner with the parents.

Dinner is spaghetti with vegetarian sauce so that Eddy won’t get sick. xD

Alexander: “So, uh, the house is very nicely decorated.”

Christine: “Thank you!”

Alexander: “Excuse me, I need to use the restroom.”

Sansa: “Isn’t he polite? And he complimented the house.”

Christine: “You know I like Alex; he’s a very nice young man.”

Yeah, Christine had already made up her mind since she wished to be friends with Alex during Brienne and Theon’s birthday party.

Christine: “But what’s most important is that you like him.”

Eddy: *grooves to music*

Christine: “So! You want to talk?”

Alexander: “I want you to know that I love Sansa very much.”

Christine: “Okay…”

Alexander: “I hope you would give me your blessing to ask her to marry me.”

Christine: “You don’t need to ask for my approval.”

Alexander: “You know how Sansa is. I think she’d want me to ask for her hand.”

Christine: “If she wants to marry you, I hereby give you my blessing. No objections from me.”

Alexander: “Thanks.”

Sansa: “You and my mom are getting along.”

Alexander: “Yeah, her and Eddy have been really nice. I’m glad you invited me to dinner.”

Sansa: “I really wanted you to meet them. You’re a big part of my life.”

Alexander: “I feel the same way.”

Sansa wanted to buy something worth more than x amount, and this wand fit the bill, so I thought, “why not?” Then I realized she could go play with the wand even though she’s not magical.

Sansa: “Is this really a good idea?”

Go for it. I’m sure you won’t die.

Sansa: “It’s uncontrollable!”

Sansa: “Ow!”

Sansa: “I’m gonna put this down now.”

Yeah, muggles shouldn’t hold wands.

Sansa: “You’re the one that made me.”

Yep. >:)

Christine: “You are so distracting.”

Eddy: “Well, if you aren’t getting any work done, just come dance with me.”

Christine: “You know, I’ve got five grown kids, but no grandchildren yet. Should I start dropping hints?”

Eddy: “No way. You’re not old enough to be a grandmother yet.”

Christine: “I beg to differ.”

Proof that Eddy really is a tattoo addict.

Bartender: “Huh? Yes?”

Sansa: “I would like to order a round of drinks!”

Sansa: “Me, Sansa Diffy, ordering a drink for every Sim in this bar!”

Bartender: “Okay.”

Whoa, I didn’t expect to get skill drinks and party drinks.

Sansa and Alex grabbed the party drinks, of course. Skill drinks on a night out are for nerds.

The drinking mod I have installed caused Alex to go and insult this Sim upstairs.

Alexander: “Why would you put your hair in those hideous ponytails?! Looks like a balding llama.”

On to some cutesie-wootsie karaoke.

Both: “Baby, I’m dancing in the dark with you between my arms! Barefoot on the grass listening to our favorite song.”

Then one of my Simself’s sons came over and stood uncomfortably close to Sansa.

Sansa and Alex:

Sansa: “If I bend my head at an awkward angle he’ll go away.”

Alexander: “I don’t deserve this; darling, you look perfect tonight.”

Oh, he’s trying to interact with Sansa because of the drinking mod. *clicks away*

Their singing got mixed reviews.

Beckett is here. Awkward, but only for me since he and Sansa never actually went on a date.

His wife, Lashawn, is also here. Double awkward.

Lashawn: “Wait, did you just say something about Beckett going on a date with Sansa?”

Well, I said that they never did go on a date.

Back to lovey-dovey things.

Lashawn: “So she’s my competition, huh?”

Uhh… *clicks away*

Begone, psychic cat!

Ugh. Also realized that this is the same cat from the party earlier this chapter. But I didn’t see any of the Hailey-Adeyemi’s here. Can we get a bouncer to keep the pets out of bars?

Alexander: “I really love you, Sansa.”

Sansa: “I love you, too.”

Alexander: “Okay, give me one second.”

Alexander: *conjures ring box*

Sansa: “Are you…?”

Sansa: “You are not!!!”

Alexander: “Sansa, will you marry me?”

Sansa: “Wait, did my mom know you were planning this?”

Alexander: “Yep. She gave me her blessing. So?”

Sansa: “Yes. I say yes.”

Alexander: “I’m so happy.”

Sansa: “You are so hot tonight.”

Okay, Sansa, time to go home.

*cough*

OKAY, YOU CAUGHT ME. I moved Alexander into the household because I didn’t think Sansa is the type to propose to her man. The scene with Christine and Alex talking was actually her asking him to move in.

Because of this, Alex’s puppy Chloe has also moved in.

Chloe aged up while Alex was proposing to Sansa.

Pretty girl.

I’m not sure if Chloe is any particular breed or a mutt, but I think she is really beautiful.

Just to show that Grace is in town even though she hasn’t shown her face. She has gotten married and moved in with Finn here, and now they’re expecting a baby.

In the middle of the night, Christine wakes up feeling very nauseous.

Christine: “Gotta make it to the toilet.”

Next time: The big day of Sansa and Alex’s wedding!

Notes: I have recently started a Simblr which can be found here. My main reason for this is that the Diffy legacy is close to the end and I want to have one place that will easily link back to my different blogs that I’m planning on afterwards. I will also use it to post pictures from my different saves, so yeah. I really want to learn to make poses, and it’s a little difficult for me to wrap my brain around at the moment, but if I ever get around to learning and creating them, I will post those on my Simblr in the future.

My blog posting may slow down as well because I will be starting a new job soon and after working only parttime hours for so long I will be working fulltime again. I am still planning on posting at least every other week but hopefully more often than that.
